Tour Schedule Exhibit Description
Edwin Cassem M.D., Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an Advisory Board member for this project, says it best: "Stigma is worldwide and stifling. Nothing to Hide aims to eradicate prejudice and discrimination based on mental disability. It is a project whose hour has come." Funded in part by NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), Nothing to Hide has received rave reviews and media attention wherever it has traveled. The book, Nothing to Hide won a prestigious Ken Johnson NAMI-NYC Metro Book Award book award from NAMI-NYC Metro.
TestimonialsDownload Full Versions of Testimonial Letters "The Division of Mental Health Services recently showcased the Nothing To Hide: Mental Illness in the Family photo-text exhibit in our State Capitol rotunda. The photographs were impressive and captivating. The accompanying quotes were poignant and informative. This exhibit was set up in the rotunda for several days during the Legislative session. Besides our lawmakers, at this particular time of the year the Capitol is also filled with many state agency representatives and other visitors including school groups and accompanying educational staff. We were very pleased with the comments received and interest shown in this exhibit by these groups. The exhibit was of outstanding educational benefit and certainly made an impact on everyone who had the opportunity to view it."
